Overview

Containers are increasingly becoming a preferred deployment technology. When applications are moved to container deployment, it becomes possible to deploy these applications on single clustered cloud architecture rather than multiple disparate sets of hardware configurations.

The Introduction to Containers, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift training program by Cognixia will equip learners with the skills and knowledge required to build and manage Docker containers to be deployed on Kubernetes clusters. The course gives participants hands-on exposure to working with Kubernetes, Docker, and Red Hat® OpenShift Platform.

The course covers how to containerize simple software applications and services, along with deploying them using Kubernetes, Docker and Red Hat OpenShift, testing containerized versions, and troubleshooting deployment.

This course is based on Red Hat® OpenShift Container Platform 3.9 and Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® 7.5.

What You'll Learn

  • Docker, Containers and Red Hat OpenShift architecture
  • Creating containerized services
  • Managing containers and container images
  • Creating custom container images
  • Deploying containerized applications on Red Hat OpenShift
  • Deploying multi-container applications
