Overview

The Scaled Agile Framework or SAFe helps align the Agile development throughout an organization. SAFe provides proven techniques to align teams to work at a larger program level, as well as it guides on how to align multiple programs into a portfolio in order to maximize value delivery. The Leading SAFe 4.6 course covers how to successfully scale Agile principles across the organization by utilizing Lean thinking practices and Product Development Flow techniques. Creating longer programs, also called as the Agile Release Trains is also covered in the course.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this course. Completing the Foundations of Agile course prior to taking this course would be beneficial.

    Certification

    Completing the Leading SAFe course is the first step towards earning the Scale Agile Framework Agilist (SA) certification. Other prerequisites include having more than five years of experience in software development, testing, business analysis, product or project management as well as experience in Scrum. After completing the two day Leading SAFe course participants are eligible to take the SAFe certification exam. The details of the exam are as below –
