Overview

This course helps develop leadership, negotiation and conflict resolution skills in the context of understanding the skills and capabilities of successfully project management. PMP® training imparts a basic understanding of project management methodology and processes, covering intermediate to advanced project management concepts, and focusing on the critical tasks, activities and challenges faced by project managers. The course prepares participants for Project Management Institute’s® PMP certification exam.

Prerequisites

Participants need to have attended at least 35 hours of classroom/online training in project management. Minimum 4500 hours of project management experience, during the last 8 consecutive years, covering the five process groups is essential in case the participant holds a four year (Bachelor’s or equivalent) degree at the time of application. In case the participant holds a high school diploma or equivalent at the time of application, they need to have a minimum of 7500 hours of project management experience during the last 8 consecutive years, covering the five process groups.
